I think we all can agree there seems to be a stigma with homes close to a freeway. The noise, the safety, the not so pleasant view. I don’t think any realtor tells their clients...”Okay, wait. I’ve got one more property to show you and you’re gonna love it. It’s right next to the freeway.”
There are a list of reasons why people avoid buying homes anywhere near one...UNLESS it is 825 Las Palmas Road in beautiful Pasadena.
I had the great pleasure of previewing this stunning Spanish Hacienda yesterday. The word breathtaking, would be an understatement.
It has been restored to it’s original beauty with no detail overlooked. The glossiness of the Spanish tiles, the distressed wood stain on the beamed ceilings, even the light switch plates were these amazing tiles glazed to perfection. Let’s not even get into the landscaping...nothing short of spectacular. I'm positive if Edward Fowler, the builder of the house, we're alive to see the home today, he would be proud of the owners who have done a remarkable job keeping the home's architectural integrity intact.
As I walked through what felt more like a resort than a house, I saw this home to be just perfect for my buyer clients in the music industry. And also my clients who love to entertain. There is something for everyone. They could be as creative and loud as they want while writing and producing their next hit song, and also not worry about disrupting their neighbors when throwing their lavish soiree’s. The freeway noise would mask any sound coming from the house and it’s grounds. In conclusion, it is the most beautiful home by a freeway I have ever seen.
